Bush Walk

March 11, 2014 · 17 Comments

Dress – Hell Bunny
Shoes – I Love Billy
Parasol – Ebay

I love going for walks in the bush. When I first came to Australia many years ago now, I never thought I’d grow fond of the Australian landscape and at the time I found it to be quite harsh and sinister even. Nowadays I still find it to be the very same, but it has grown on me and I can appreciate the novelty of how different it is from the European landscape.

Beautiful photos. The striped parasol really stands out! The bush can be quite frightening but there is definitely a beauty to it as well.

Unfamiliar things always seem strange at first, but I don't know, nature is one thing that's easy to appreciate wherever you are! I always thought you were Australian, though, with some Russian ancestry or something!

How terrifically lovely! There is something so very, very visually powerful about the sudden jolt of red you're wearing set amongst the paler hues of that landscape. You make me think of if a luscious red rose bush had suddenly sprung to life in that same spot. Gorgeous!!!

What lovely and striking photos! The trees are quite beautiful even if a little barren. I absolutely love this dress and I think the best part is the parasol. It adds such a unique element to the outfit. Just gorgeous 🙂

Lovely! A burst of red color looks beautiful in that landscape, and evidently the flowers agree. I adore your parasol, too, how perfect for summer.
I felt rather similarly the year I lived in the desert, but I've grown to love all the different varieties of landscape, different though they may be.
