Left it until the very last minute to post this because I couldn’t decide whether to scrap these photos. And then panicked and decided that I may as well post them because I don’t like the other set of photos I have either! So I’ll keep this last post of the year short and sweet. I’m actually not a big fan of New Years. I don’t like endings. Sometimes I won’t even watch the final season of a series I really love because I hate the finality of it. I do like the idea of turning over a new leaf, clean slate, that sort of thing. Because I love setting myself unrealistic goals and expectations, obviously.
But this year I like to think that I’ve done alright. I’ve managed to actually get somewhere with my weight loss goals, which was my number one priority. Hopefully I can continue with this in 2024, provided I haven’t derailed my progress over the festive period. I have focused on curating a more authentic vintage look and made better thought out purchases that will hopefully help with that. I’ve also stepped out of my comfort zone and started going to vintage events and being more social within the vintage community. As a huge introvert this has been pretty full on and at times overwhelming, but it gets easier the more I do it.
So considering that ’23 was pretty decent, I have high hopes for the year to come. Should hopefully be a good one.
