A very Happy New Year!

January 3, 2014 · 17 Comments

To celebrate the end of what has been a wonderful year, we spent the night tucked away in a very cosy little cocktail bar knocking back Gin Sloe’s and Kentucky Corpse Reviver’s. There were some Mojito’s too, and blood orange Margarita’s, making it a very fun night! What made it all the more special was the decadent Downton Abbey meets Boardwalk Empire aesthetic that complemented the elegant cocktail menu, and as a lover of costume dramas, had me completely seduced.

That really does look cozy, chic and wonderfully vintage adorned. Though I don't (or more accurately, cannot because of medical reasons) drink, I'd happily curl up there anytime with a virgin sipper and a good book.

Wishing you an amazing 2014 filled with happiness, good health and countless awesome memories, dear Harlow!
