Rose Red

November 9, 2013 · 24 Comments

Dress – Trashy Diva
Shoes – Betts
Belt – appropriated from a Bernie Dexter dress

Lately there has been a lot of red outfits on this blog! It’s a color I can’t help gravitating towards, especially if it’s paired with white – that is one of my all time favorite combinations. This week has been one of those weeks where outfit photos just don’t work out the way I want them to – bad hair days, bad lighting – but it happens!

You're every bit – if not – gorgeous any rose Mother Nature ever grew. Red is a firm favourte of mine on the colour front too. I know someone people say that those with red and auburn locks should avoid this colour, but I feel that for many, the exact opposite is true and that it can be one of the most becoming corners of the rainbow for gingers. I always seem to really, really gravitate towards red during the colder months, so I'm willing to bet that you'll be seeing a fair bit of on my blog again soon, too.

    Have a marvelous weekend!
    ♥ Jessica

That colour combination on you works beautifully! Love the red rose setting you chose to take your photographs in! Isn't it great that it's warm enough for roses to bloom on our side of the world now?! xox

I tend to gravitate toward red too! I can see why you do, you look fantastic in this color! I was actually so excited because I found 5 single vintage millinery roses that look just like the one you picture. They are gorgeous and I can't wait to make them into hair flowers!

I have the skirt version of this. I didn't know there was also a dress! It's lovely. And so are these photos, whether you felt like they turned out or not, they are beautiful.
