Midweek Cocktails!

November 6, 2013 · 11 Comments

Negroni
Espresso Martini
Old Fashioned

As you know, I love cocktails! Normally I stick to very girly tropical drinks but lately I’ve been enjoying simple, more adult drinks, like the ‘Old Fashioned’ which everyone knows as Don Draper’s drink of choice. However, you wouldn’t want to go knocking back too many of these, despite how easy Mad Men makes it look!

I love that all these beverages look like pieces of art πŸ™‚
And I bet they are all so tasty!

Ah cocktails. My co-workers and I were only discussing what our customized cocktails would be if we had one named after us.

Re Miss L Fire… I find them TTS… Those navy heels have a little heel cushion at the back because the heel is heavy and had a tendency to slip off a little though. No biggy.

Too bad I quit alcohol; I love cocktails too! Luckily there are plenty without alcohol in them.
That Espresso Martini looks delicious, by the way!

Ahh espresso martini .. I've always loved coctails with coffee-base, I think coffee liquers are especially amazing! The other day I drank this coctail that had mocca, banana cyrup, coffee liquer and whipped cream .. I swear I can quit eating cakes when I can substitute them with that drink! It's pure heaven! πŸ™‚

Mmm the old fashioned actually looks the most delicious to me! I usually prefer any cocktails with berries thrown into the mix!

My goodness those do look inviting! I have to stick to mocktails (I haven't been able to have any alcohol at all due to medical reasons for over 11 years now), but so long as they come a nice cocktail glass, I don't mind at all.

Oh, yum! Mid week cocktails are the best, though it's been a while since I've had one. Working from home and all. πŸ˜‰
