We’ll always have Paris

April 14, 2013 · 52 Comments

Dress- Courtesy of Bernie Dexter, get it here!
Seamed stockings – Ebay
Garter belt – Von Follies
Feather Fan – Ebay
Shoes – Betts
Macaroons, poodles, Can Can dancers and cobblestone streets – all of these wonderful things spring to mind when I wear this Bernie Dexter dress. So I couldn’t help but put on some saucy seamed stockings and carry a feathered fan as a tribute to the iconic Parisian institution, the Moulin Rouge!
I am yet to visit Paris and it is entirely my fault for I have had many opportunities to do so! It is something I end up almost doing every time I travel to Europe, but inevitably I get too exhausted and leave it until “next time”. I’m sure I will go one day soon, and when I do, chances are I will not want to leave!
After a whole week of rain we had a beautiful crisp autumn day and I was finally able to wear my new seamed stockings. With the cooler weather on its way I have been adding different pairs to my wardrobe to wear with my Von Follies garter belt, so expect to see more of these soon!

Wow you really love your Bernie Dexter dresses, and I can see why as that's another stunner! And I love how you've accessorized it with all those red touches, the fan is dreamy…. Send my love to Paris – I used to live there – and have the best time my dear! I've gone for a suitably Parisian fin de siΓ¨cle look in my latest post too!

Gorgeous as always! Love the dress! And can I ask a quick question about your hair cut? Is it shaped at all around the face? I'm about to cut all mine off so I can start pincurling again, but I'm not sure whether my hair needs to be all one length or whether I should get some shaping around my face.
